BEYOND WEDDINGS.
Beyond weddings, I also photograph events, festivals, portrait, and sports. I love capturing the energy of a crowd, the atmosphere of a festival, and the little moments that happen in between. Over the past two years, I’ve photographed at Hive Festival and Shifted and had the chance to accompany DJs during their sets. I also work in sports photography, capturing movement, emotion and the moments that make each event unique.
Whether it’s a festival, a portrait session, or a sporting event, my approach stays the same: capturing honest moments, real emotions, and the atmosphere as it unfolds.

HI, I’M LISA, A 27-YEAR-OLD PHOTOGRAPHER AND VIDEOGRAPHER ORIGINALLY FROM DRESDEN, NOW BASED IN BERLIN.
MY JOURNEY INTO THE CREATIVE WORLD STARTED EARLY. I’VE ALWAYS KNOWN THAT I WANTED TO WORK IN ART, WHICH LED ME TO STUDY ART AND DESIGN IN HIGH SCHOOL BEFORE COMPLETING MY TRAINING AS A GRAPHIC AND MEDIA DESIGNER.
IT DIDN’T TAKE LONG FOR ME TO REALISE THAT MY HEART WASN’T REALLY IN GRAPHIC DESIGN. INSTEAD, I FOUND MYSELF DRAWN TO PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILM - THE ABILITY TO CAPTURE PEOPLE, TELL STORIES AND CREATE IMAGES THAT MAKE YOU FEEL SOMETHING.
DURING BREAKS AT SCHOOL, I STARTED GRABBING MY CLASSMATES AND FRIENDS TO PHOTOGRAPH THEM. WHAT BEGAN AS A PASSION PROJECT QUICKLY TURNED INTO MY FIRST PAID JOBS AND BEFORE I KNEW IT, I HAD REGISTERED MY OWN SMALL BUSINESS.
DURING MY TRAINING, I ALSO COMPLETED AN INTERNSHIP AT THE FILM PRODUCTION COMPANY CENTRO FILMS. JUST FOUR DAYS IN, I WAS OFFERED A PERMANENT POSITION - AND THAT WAS THE BEGINNING OF AN EXCITING NEW CHAPTER. I STARTED OUT AS A CAMERA ASSISTANT AND GRADUALLY MOVED INTO MY OWN PRODUCTIONS, WORKING AS A PHOTOGRAPHER, TAKING ON INDEPENDENT PROJECTS, AND HELPING PLAN AND BRING LARGER PRODUCTIONS TO LIFE. AFTER TWO AND A HALF YEARS, I DECIDED IT WAS TIME TO TAKE THE LEAP INTO FULL-TIME FREELANCE WORK AND MOVED TO BERLIN TO BUILD SOMETHING OF MY OWN.
I’VE NOW BEEN BASED IN BERLIN FOR OVER TWO YEARS, BUILDING MY FREELANCE CAREER AND EXPLORING THE DIFFERENT WORLDS THAT INSPIRE ME. ONE THING I’VE DISCOVERED ALONG THE WAY IS HOW MUCH I LOVE TELLING LOVE STORIES. WHETHER IT’S WEDDINGS, COUPLES, OR THOSE FLEETING, INTIMATE MOMENTS IN BETWEEN, I’M DRAWN TO GENUINE CONNECTION, RAW EMOTIONS AND THE LITTLE DETAILS THAT MAKE EVERY STORY UNIQUE.
BUT MY CAMERA DOESN’T STOP THERE. MUSIC AND NIGHTLIFE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A PART OF MY WORLD, AND MY LOVE FOR TECHNO HAS NATURALLY FOUND ITS WAY INTO MY WORK. I’VE HAD THE CHANCE TO PHOTOGRAPH FESTIVALS SUCH AS HIVEAND SHIFTED AS WELL AS CAPTURE DJS BEHIND THE DECKS, DOCUMENTING THE ENERGY, ATMOSPHERE AND PEOPLE THAT MAKE THESE MOMENTS UNFORGETTABLE.
ANOTHER BIG PART OF MY WORK IS SPORTS PHOTOGRAPHY, WHICH HAS TAKEN ME FAR BEYOND BERLIN. THROUGH DIFFERENT ASSIGNMENTS, I’VE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO TRAVEL INTERNATIONALLY, PHOTOGRAPHING ACROSS COUNTRIES AND CULTURES. JUST LAST YEAR, MY WORK TOOK ME TO ENGLAND, DENMARK, HELSINKI AND TURKEY.
FROM INTIMATE WEDDINGS TO SWEATY DANCE FLOORS AND HIGH-ENERGY SPORTING MOMENTS, I LOVE MOVING BETWEEN DIFFERENT WORLDS AND FINDING THE STORIES WORTH TELLING IN EACH OF THEM.
FOR ME, PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILM ARE ALL ABOUT PEOPLE, ENERGY AND EMOTION. I WANT MY WORK TO FEEL AUTHENTIC, A LITTLE RAW, AND FULL OF LIFE - SOMETHING THAT BRINGS YOU RIGHT BACK TO THE MOMENT, EVEN YEARS LATER.
WHEREVER THE STORY TAKES ME, I’M ALWAYS READY TO CAPTURE IT.
